A disorder of the skin in uncontrolled diabetes mellitus in which bullae appear, usually on the feet and the ankles: "Bullosis diabeticorum is a cutaneous condition characterized by a noninflammatory, spontaneous, painless blister, often in peripheral body parts; such as, the feet, the toes, the hands,the fingers, the ears, or the nose; as seen in diabetic patients."
